The Government is considering proposals to improve insulation standards in new builds. The most intensive proposal could see build costs on a 4-bedroom home increase up to $50,000.
So much for affordable housing. It’s ridiculous to increase insulation standards even further when new homes are already very well insulated and warm, and housing is already so expensive!
