John Kenel was featured in the Waikato Times today commenting on Waipā District Council's decision to restore the 124-year-old Cambridge water tower rather than demolish it.
"It's been part of the town's character for over a hundred years, and the fact a community group has been fighting to save it tells you what it means for people," John told Local Democracy Reporter Jordan Smith. “ New Zealand should hold onto what heritage is has”.
